June 1, 1932

Wed., 1  Morning devotions.  Getting ready to go to Saratoga. It is a lovely day. Henrietta plans to take me. Mrs. Goodale calls. A letter from Hattie tells me that they went to Speculator this morning. Glad of the letter. Seems a little hard to give up without twinges of disappointment. We go out to Henrietta’s after supper. She, too, had her grip ready to go. The D.A.R. have a Bridge party at Mrs. Waterman’s to-night. Grace attends.
