June 4, 1932

Sat., 4  Morning devotions.  Rained in the night. Grace goes with Mr. Otis to Burlington. Make 2 dried apple pies. Do the morning work. Do little else except the dinner. Clean & cook a chicken for to-morrow. A letter from Frank Frost which I answer. A poor disjointed letter that tells me too surely that his mind is nearly gone.
