June 11, 1932

Sat., 11  Morning devotions. A beautiful day & quite warm. Letters from Helen, Gertrude & Anna. Also  from Phillis (sic) Fergus. Dumas cleans up for Sunday. I make a rhubarb pie, get dinner & sew on my dress. Fit a collar of my own manufacture. Grace, Henrietta & Mrs. Jones go to Burlington. They buy a silver pitcher for the Forest & Field club, to be presented to Rowland & Mrs. Robinson at their silver wedding to-night. Grace attends. Mrs. Fremont Fisher calls & we take her home. Strawberry shortcake.
