June 16, 1932

Thurs., 16  Morning devotions. A cloudy day. Get dinner with a strawberry shortcake. Dumas irons & puts up curtains, does dishes, etc. I help on the ironing. Feeling tired after yesterday. Henrietta comes. She has attended Helen Cowles Bennett funeral at N.H. Street. She brings Ruth’s heavy baggage from the garage. She and Grace take most of it upstairs. Type poem “Elm Tree.”  The Bennetts call on Henrietta.
