June 26, 1932

Sun., 26  No devotions & only a prayer as I am too busy with the dinner to listen. Karl & family & Grace attend church & come home to dinner. I make 2 strawberry shortcakes. Go to ride across Bristol Flats to East Middlebury, home by Lemon Fair, Reef Bridge, to N.H. Junction. The roads good, the country at its best. Marvelous, beautiful Vermont. The Tracys call on the garden. A day of sunshine, blue sky & white fleecy clouds.
