July 3, 1932

Sun., 3  A nice cool night. A sermon from Montreal. They sing “God Save the King,” which was quite appropriate for the day when U.S. threw off her shackles. Grace attends church, then goes with the children to the Lake. I get dinner for Tuttle. Make a strawberry shortcake for supper. Anna & family come. His brother, wife & child call on their way to Poultney to visit his daughter. Have a little ride. N.H. Junction, Reef Bridge, & Addison Corner.
