July 6, 1932

Wed., 6  Morning devotions. Get dinner, etc. go in Wilma’s car to the Dog Team Tavern, Grace, Anna & I. We have tea with the two nice girls who have charge of the place. One is from Scotland & the other from Texas. We call on Ethel & Lucy Dana. Wilma takes Connie & Billy along & takes care of them. Helena calls while we are gone, on her way to Fairfax, where she leaves Simonds with relatives for the summer. Henrietta takes Helen Ryder to Burlington hospital where she has a sick child. Write Hattie.

Lots of people I don’t know. I think Simonds may be Ella’s niece Helena’s son, since Ella’s sister Helen was married to a Simonds. If that makes any sense!
