July 10, 1932

Sun., 10  A lovely cloudless morning. Grace & Shirley attend church. I get dinner. We have a nap, then a ride through Bristol Flats. Stop & see Lee Taylor’s baby, a sweet thing two months old. We have a short visit in the road, then go on to East Middlebury, old Middlebury and so home. A very lovely section of country. Henrietta, Anna & children come to supper. I write Gertrude. A common sense sermon comes in from Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal.
