Thurs., 21 Morning devotions & I get downstairs just in time to get it. A hot day but a good hay day. We take in Anna & Shirley after dinner, and go to St. Albans. Wilma stays with the children at Henrietta’s. All well at Ben’s. Jeanette puts a hot pot of baked beans into our car & we discover it only when we get home, which is about 5-30. A most beautiful drive with the country at its best. Alvin comes from Pittsfield. Card from Grace in Saratoga. Mrs Richmond calls with others while we are gone.
