July 24, 1932

Sun., 24  A wonderful day of rarified air after a rain last night. Everything stands out plain & clear. We have veal steak, corn & strawberry shortcake for dinner & Anna stops with her family to eat with us, then they go on to Pittsfield. Then it is so lonely. We go for a little ride. I write Anna & The Editor.
