July 27, 1932

Wed., 27  Morning devotions. I make a blueberry pie & look over half a bushel of blueberries that came this morning. Ben & Jeanette get in to dinner as we are getting thru. They found Ruth on the gain. A great improvement since Ben saw her last. They go to St. Albans after dinner. Write Hattie. Letter from the rug people of North Adams. Hindley prints my plea for Col. Seth Warner.

(Emphasis mine!)
