August 1, 1932

Mon., 1  Morning devotions. Write a Campaign song. Make 2 blueberry pies, get dinner, etc. Cooking Henrietta’s chicken. Wilma takes Grace to Horsford’s for lillies (sic) & I go for the ride. She is making sprays for poor man’s funeral. Otis brings 7 qts. of string beans his wife put up on shares. I pick a few currants & Tuttle brings 4 qts. raspberries. Write Helen. Send Ben the rest of his birthday–mate for the other shirt.

This corrects the posts in early August. For some reason, I didn’t copy this one out of the diary in the archive.
