February 9, 1933

Thurs., 9   Storm, wind & cold. Morning devotions. Henrietta comes late, for the day. Make a strawberry shortcake for dinner. Letters from Hattie & Addie Stevens. Work a little on the genealogy. Karl comes for Henrietta. Tuttle comes early. I sit by the sitting room radiator during the evening, as the wind whistles sharp around the kitchen floor. Write Addie & Maud.
