May 15, 1933

Tues., 16   No devotions. Dumas does the work & washes windows. Ham & greens for dinner. Feeling ill & blue. Get geraniums for Mother’s grave. Henrietta & I go to Lakeview, postponed from May 9, her birthday. Mrs. Porter & Ellen ride to B (sic) & Henrietta takes them to Mary Fletcher, where Ellen’s husband, Philip Rider, is very ill. She goes after them & brings them home. We call on Stanton Muzzy, who is remarkable. Grace with Otis & a truck load of plants spends the day in Middlebury. Feel better to-night.
