Sat., 29 Finish Helen’s green dress sleeves & Grace’s blue waist. Look over S.S. lesson, &tc. Ralp (sic) goes home at 6 o’clock P.M. & we send by him Ruth’s suit case with her things in.
Fri., 28 Mend & commence sleeves for Helen’s green dress. Grace comes home. Boys go fishing.
Thurs., 27 Wash to day. A bitter cold wind blowing. I hang clothes & get them in.
Wed., 26 Wash today. A bitter cold wind blowing. Grace goes to her school. Ralph comes. Make doughnuts.
Tues., 25 Xmas day: just an ordinary day on which the snow falls softly. Gertrude goes to her school with the Coonrod’s toward night. We send Ruth a little boxy to cheer her up. Sew on Grace’s blue waist.
