August 29, 1906

Wed., 29  Henry, Benjamin, Henrietta & Anna go blackberrying.  Gertrude & I go to Mamie Kents & find her gone to Middlebury Fair.  Cut Gertrude’s shirt-waist.  Iron, or Gertrude irons while I sew.

Wed., 22  Work on Gertrude’s waist & finish it.  She goes to the State School after dinner with Lena & children.  Henry, Benjamin & Anna go blackberrying.

August 9, 1907

Fri., 9  A beautiful, clear day.  Henry & Tuttle go home.  Ruth goes berrying.  I sew on Anna’s dress.  Benjamin, Anna & Muriel Vittum come down.  Benjamin stays & the girls go home after supper.

Wed., 8  Finish ironing.  Bake, &tc.  Ruth & I go at night to Mrs Field’s for black currants.  Find them gone & pick red ones.  Stop at Graves coming home.
