Fri., 6  Morning devotions. Still no rain. Grace goes down town with Tuttle. Letter from Anna. Get dinner. Boiled salmon & butterscotch pie. Can 9 pints of tomatoes. the plague of grasshoppers is unabated. They eat everything before them.
