Thurs., 24  Not so good a day as yesterday. More clouds & sprinkles of rain. Glean 13 quarts of currants from our bushes. Write a little.

October 16, 1903

Fri., 16  Not feeling well to-day.  Manage to get dinner & go to bed with a sick stomache (sic) & an aching head.  Lie until nearly night.  Write up Col Seth Warner in the evening.
