Mon., 7 A gray morning. After breakfast in bed I dress & come down stairs. Not very strong. Write last night a poem for Driftwind. Write letters to-day to Anna & Ruth. Get one from Ruth. Have two naps during the day. Grace has two callers, Mrs. Belle Clark & Mrs. Will Jackman. Write to Belle Brown. Fix some arsenic for the rats. They are thick in the celler. Letter from Mrs. Ferris.

Hi Mary, When did it go from 1926 to 1929? I missed that. Thanks, RoseAnn Johnson

There are no diaries from 1927 and 1928 in the Sheldon’s Research Center, and as far as I know, they haven’t surfaced elsewhere. It’s too bad, since Ella’s take on the 1927 floor would have been interesting.
